When I started this card I wanted to punch it up with a vibrant and easter inspired colour scheme, and I really wanted to try out this criss cross card technique. I still owe you a tutorial on the slider card, so I won't get myself in hot water by promising you another one just yet...LOL! I used Yoyo Yellow, Whisper White and Lovely Lilac CS. The glittered flower at the top o
f the card insert is from the Pretty amazing set, and stamped in So Saffron ink (who says everything has to match perfectly....sometimes close is close enough...LOL) and glamoured up with some glitter and a crystal brad. On the bottom of the card insert I chosse a Thank You sentiment from the Wonderful Words stamp set and inked it in Perfect Plum. The Whisper White CS on the front of the card was stamped with peices of the Priceless stamp set in Perfect Plum, So Saffron and Pale Plum. I think this card is an excellent example showing how you can mix and match colours together even if you don't have the exact right one.
