Cards from the Contest!

As promised, although delayed, these are the two cards that we did at the Bradford Stampin' UP! Club that entitled the commentors to enter the draw. Good golly does that make sense to anyone other than me? lol! The first card was done earlier in the month in soft sky and chocolate chip. I changed things up a bit by substituting Tempting Turquoise. Using the blender pens and the Turquoise Classic stamp pad we added highlights and colour to the bird from the Pretty Amazing stamp set.

This second card was actually done in Old Olive at the club, but I've recently made it with Pale Plum water colour crayons and Perfect Plum ink. I've decided to use this image to show another colour option for a very versatile card. The card can be found in an older post in Old Olive under Heartfelt Thanks. This set is quickly becoming one of my faves! One of my fellow crafters stamped "Happy Mother's Day" on the strip of Pale Plum that you can see going down the side of the card; not seen here in this photo.

Stay tuned for a special mother's day project. I will be waiting until after mother's day to post it as it's a special surprise for my Mom! It's so hard making something for her....we are often card making together! LOL!
